'DEADPOOL 2' LAUNCHES WITH OVER $300 MILLION WORLDWIDE, MAY 20, 2018
Even though Deadpool 2 didn't deliver a record opening domestically for an R-rated movie it still captured a few record of its own as well as delivered a couple studio records en route to an impressive $301.3 million worldwide debut. Meanwhile Avengers: Infinity War continued it's impressive run becoming the fourth largest global release of all-time while Paramount's Book Club and Global Road's Show Dogs delivered on expectations in their attempts at counter-programming against the pair of superhero features.

Warner Bros. is looking to expand on Jared Leto’s version of the Joker, which debuted in 2016’s “Suicide Squad,” with a movie of his own.
Sources tell Variety that Leto is set to star and exec produce an untitled standalone film, paving the way for future movies branching from “Suicide Squad.”

Bob Marley, a native of Jamaica, began performing in 1963 with The Wailers then went solo in 1974. He died of cancer in 1981 at the age of 36. With songs that contained a strong sense of spirituality, he sold more than 75 million records worldwide. His notable hits included “Stir It Up,” “Get Up, Stand Up,” “Buffalo Soldier,” and “Redemption Song.”
